Insurance & Protection
Every Turo trip includes protection arranged through the platform.
This typically covers:
Third‑party liability
Damage protection (subject to excess)
Exact coverage depends on the protection plan selected at checkout.
Collect or Receive the Car
Depending on the listing, you’ll either:
Collect the car from an agreed location, or
Have the vehicle delivered
Hosts provide clear instructions before your trip begins.
Enjoy the Trip
Use the vehicle within the agreed trip rules, mileage limits, and fuel/charging requirements.
Support is available through the Turo app throughout your booking.
Return the Vehicle
At the end of the trip:
Return the car to the agreed location
Leave it in the agreed condition
Complete the return in the app
You can then leave a review for the host.
